Eric Carle is one of my favourite writers of all for children's picture books. This book is a good source for teaching and learning time.


You can use this book not only for Mathematics. You can use it for other subjects too.

For example, Art lessons to make your own insects or even costume.
For example, English lessons where you can re-write your own story using new animals and describing the animals using new vocabulary and adjectives.
For example, Drama, performing a play just like the video.
For example, learning more about yourself by brainstorming a list of things that make you grouchy.
For example, Music, composing a song about the insects.
For example, Science, discussing the importance of ladybugs to our environment or body parts of a ladybug.


P.S: The children performing are so cute! I can't help but to watch it again and again. =D
